I always prefer these smaller establishments when eating in Thailand. The waitress was extremely kind and even taught me a few thai phrases as we were being served. The food was delightful and was backed up by a cozy atmosphere. Over the day it is a little hot to eat there, but that is the only minute critisism that I can think of. It was Great

My fiance (from Myanmar) and me (German) travel around Asia every year. This small outdoor kitchen with nothing but garden tables surprisingly offered us the best green curry (chicken) we have ever eaten, beating all the mediocre, yet overrated, mainroad restaurants by a mile. The massaman curry was great, too, and the fresh passion fruit shake was also super refreshing. Of cause we came back for more! Sadly, we saw quite a few fellow Europeans turn away when they saw the small garden tables and camping chairs, ladies and gentlemen - you just missed the greatest curry you would ever have eaten. Don't let the outside look fool you, this small family restaurant, hidden between massage parlours, less than 50m away from the beach, convinces with pure flavour. The prices are more than fair, and the waitress (owner?) is super friendly and speaks fluent English. If you are lucky, you can also get a table with ocean view.

This was our favorite place which we only found near the end of our two weeks in Ao Nang (and then we ate there every day). It’s nestled in with the massage huts so doesn’t jump out but it’s definitely worth hunting this place out - so many people walk on by not realizing what they are missing out on!! Awesome food (best we had) and lovely people

Found this after a bad experience at a nearby restaurant, this one had great google reviews. It is hard to find as it's surrounded by massage parlours so the signage is not obvious, but what an absolute gem of a find. Probably the best massaman curry I've had in Thailand so far, and the mango with sticky rice was also up there as one of the best. It may not have a great view but this place is all about great food with flavour, and at a great price too. The coconut shake was delicious too. Don't miss this one! I've included photos to help as a guide to the location! Google was accurate though.

Lovely place hidden behind a massage place along the beach. At the time we went, there was also another hut being constructed so we couldn't see the signboard or the front of the shop. However, it's just in front of massage hut no2. We asked for spicy and they delivered. Loved the coconut shake that paired well with the fiery tom yum soup. Will definitely visit again before we leave.

This place is a great example of "don't judge a book by its cover" the food is the best food I have had in Thailand and I have been here for 11 days. if I could give it 6 Stars I would
